I like to see the underdogs and teams that have never won a W.S. get their shot so in the NL I’d much rather see the Nats make it to the W.S. before anyone else. In the AL I definitely do not want to see the Yankees make it to the W.S. I’d much rather see the Orioles stick it to the Yankees and make it to the W.S. instead. While I would not mind the Rangers making it the W.S. they have been there now 2 years in a row so I would not mind seeing someone else get a chance instead.

The AL is full of good stories and teams that it is hard to pick one. Leyland in Detroit would be something to see as would watching the A’s pull off one of the most unexpected runs in MLB history and come out of nowhere to reach the W.S.

Can you imagine Jim Leyland vs Davey Johnson squaring up and matching wits against each other in the W.S.?

I’d like to see the Cards beat the Braves but I believe it’ll end the other way around.

I’m going with the Orioles over the Rangers.

I would love nothing more than for Larry Jones’ final playoff appearance to last all of 1 game. Let’s go Cards!!

As for the AL game, I think the “fighting Showalters” have all the confidence in the world after going down to the wire in an exciting pennant race with the Yankees whereas Texas is reeling after losing the division on he final day of the season.

O’s and Cards advance to the Division Series.

The Yankee over the Braves in seven with a come from behind ninth inning rally at Turner Field. Chipper flys deep to CF representing the winning run. Met fans were rooting for Chipper but it did not happen.
