You forgot Thole. My bet is he’d field that position better than his current position.

That said, this is a series I’m looking forward too. One one hand, if we hold on to Ike and Duda, we’re set at 1B for a while. But baseball, and life happens, so it certainly would be nice to see higher upside guys talented at the corners.

Well…on the major league level we have 3 young guys in their arb/pre-arb years who can say 1B is probably their best position.

You nailed it. That’s it in a nutshell. You can basically throw everybody other than Rodriguez into the non-prospect, or near-prospect category.

Sad indeed. Satin shouldn’t be on this list. And I mean that in this way. Pete’s list is fine, it’s just a sad state of affairs when Satin is so high up the list.

Also, Satin does not seem to me he can make the jump up to the bigs. Hope I’m wrong but it’s just not the vibe I get from him.

Interesting list. Especially considering the Mets seem to be set at the position. Might be time to move some of these guys.

it seems, at least based on the 3 guys above that were recently drafted, that power is not being ignored anymore. catcher too I guess, since they just took one in the 2nd round (and that Deihl guy was drafted as one).

question though. Since he is not on the list, I assume you think Flores is going to stick over at 3B? I know he played around the IF this year.
