Do you really believe the Mets can beat the Braves today. If pigs could fly. We suck for a reason. Nobody will care or even watch with the first NFL Sunday. This is not a baseball team. This is a bunch of guys that put on a uniform and are given bats, balls and gloves. For what reason I’ll never know!
I stopped watching when Jason Bay came in to pinch run for Davis. It was over at that point.
My thing is, it is obvious the team has worn out. Duda, Tejeda, Murphy, & Davis have all struggled in the second half none has ever played a full season. Hey even Wright and Hairston have cooled tremendously. Guys like Baxter, Thole, Torres, & Turner just don’t cut it, they are bench players. Losing does not help mentally either. It’s been a rough post all star break and they just don’t have the horses to pick it up. Braves sweep on Larry’s final game in NY 3-2. 3rd in the division, maybe, above .500 I don’t think so.
Your comments are valid for minor league teams NOT MLB teams. These guys are outclassed and outplayed in EVERY facet of the game. It is truly disgusting to watch. I have seen many teams over my lifetime and even my beloeved ’62 Mets had more HEART than these BUMS!!Oh yeah gice me one more reason why Collins is such a great manager for the Mets. He sucks as much as the team.
Metfan Lou — Suck it up baby. You’re acting more worn out than our team. Take some Serutan. lol.
You’re right buddy. I just opened an ice cold Bud. Oh the pain!
