Great read Tie Dyed! Thanks for the insight. Koos pitched back in the day when it was 4 man rotations, pitchers pitched more and got hurt less. Didn’t he used to throw big looping curveball every now and then?

Outstanding article!!! Kooz was one of my all time favorite Mets and it was great to read about how he came to be a Met. I was crushed when we traded him to the Twins, but my resentment turned to joy because that player to be named later, Jesse Orosco, would become a World Series hero for us 8 years later! You need to post stuff like this more often. The internet still has a lot of old timers like me who enjoy posts like this one. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
