Jenrry Mejia and Jack Leathersich remind me of pepper and salt twins. Both weigh 205 and are just about six feet or slightly less. One is a righty pitcher and the other is lefty. Both can throw bullets from their smallish (not tiny) body. To me, both are best out of the bullpen. Many small pitchers have had great baseball careers. We'll have to wait and see if these two guys do also.

Conner, pet peeve time. Just because he did not walk anyone does not mean he did not have control issues. The fact that he gave up so many hits points out that he probably did.

that is, control is putting the ball where you want it. Missing out over the fat part of the plate is probably worse than missing off the plate, since the fat pitches tend to go a lot farther!

you could have 2 guys, 1 giving up 3 walks because he pitched around certain guys in certain spots, and another with 0 walks but just throwing down the pipe and getting smoked, and it looks like (from the box score) that Mr. 3 walks was the one with poor control.
