Whenhe came up in 2011 he was hitting .300 and .378 then after two months of doing that the Hitting coach turned that into .209, .283, .198, .279 and now he is hitting .278 for the year!

Yeah he’s improved a lot!

He’s Good! inthe same way BAD = GOOD!

As for the reyes point that never worked even for my Father so it’s not going to fly now!

You agreed his plus was playing for a contract which is why he wasn’t worthkeeping as it was not REAL performance or should be considered improvement!

Still you got maybe 3% of the team has improved with 97% declining!
Especially since you got rid of one of the guys you claim were improved!

It was huge and even Wally spoke to us about it saying he understood the reason for it. He carried that chip up until the day he was recalled.

Cedeno is better? Why because he walks more? He is not hitting any better than pagan did!
Hairston hit a lot of HRs true but his BA is still .260!
Turner came up hitting the way he did long before Hudgens got to him! Or did you forget that? Maybe we should hire the MiL Hitting coach instead!

Tejada and Wright are the only ones you can seemingly say was helped but Wright is on record as saying he went to his old coach to get himself in order and then half a season in under this great hitting coach started to look like the Wright of last year which everyone seemed to think was not very good!

In the case of Tejada it’s his ability to protect the plate that has made his BA improve and he had that long before Hudgens ever got to him as well!

So really you got nothing but a Hairston (also playing for a contract and regular playing time) and a guy hitting .270 with irregular playing time vs

Yep that sounds like the UFT method for judging good teachers…I had 3 or 4 students who learned in my class so I should be considered a great teacher and the other 90% of my class that failed should just be considered too dumb to learn anything!
