They might have clinched thier division by now if they had kept him.
If they don’t make the WS a lot of folks there are going to start questioning make a tade for the future when such a good NOW was within thier grasp.

R.A. Dickey is AMAZIN’. If the Mets win 72 games and RA wins 20 it means that R.A. Dickey will have won 27 percent of all the wins. Think about that!

Just goes to show that throwing money out there doesn’t guarantee anything.
Then again, Miami pulled the plug pretty early on that team they assembled for 2012.
That and the Marlins offense might be worse than ours right now with no Stanton in the line-up.

Considering all the hype for the team as they came into the season. How bad are the Marlins that they can come in and look worse than the Mets? Wow

On a particular note just want to say Great play by Tejada in that one inning going way out in the outfield to catch a flyball.

Now that I am reduced to rooting for personal accomplishments It be nice to see Dickey reach 20 wins to sort of cap what has been just a incredible season for him.
