While it doesn’t fully compensate for Tuesday’s blown call (AND Torres shouldn’t have made it that close), it does place a nice cherry on the top of Dickey’s 18th win.

There were times this season where I doubted that he was the first baseman of the future because he looked so bad. I take it all back. As for Dickey, if the Mets don’t sign him to an extension the front office should all be fired on the spot. I just realized that everything good that has happened for the Mets this season, has had absolutely nothing to do with this front office. Nothing.
