Perhaps Shoppach’s presence in a better hitting slot (he should never bat 8th!) will overcome the BayDismay? I also think Ronny could be decent as lead-off could also boost their chances due to more speed than our resident sloth Ruben. His OBP is actually better too.

That is like the mail man deliveying an important package 3 days late. Yes DW started red hot and then disappeared. Ike is a differet story as he actually is finishing strong for some time. RA has been strong pretty much throughout. Finishing at .500 would just camouflage the holes we have. As for Kelly Shoppage if he finishes strong it may mean we have filled a hole.
