Not sure why Famillia and Mejia should not be called up in September at this point. They should be in rotation for Young, and Santana down the stretch. Famillia needs a taste and Mejia has done well as a starter in the minors, it can also boost their trade value as well.Neither can be as bad as Santana right now.

Hi Maniac, I was really on the fence about Lewis. But for me, the deciding factor was that I couldn't see them adding him to the 40-man, along with so many other players that I mentioned, when they would already have Kirk and Duda coming up. I just don't see where they would be able to work in three additional lefty outfield bats, considering Baxter is on the team. I look at Lewis as a very similar player as Mike Baxter, and as long as Baxter is on the Mets, Fred Lewis won't be.

Hi Pete, what about Fred Lewis? I dont understand how we haven't been able to find a spot for him especially after we sent two LH bats down when we got rid of Duda and Nieuwy. We could of used some of his spark when he was red hot. I agree with everything else you wrote.
