Peter –

With the FO talking about building the Mets from within, what’s up with their lower tier minors? Of concern to me is that there is little to be excited about in terms of hitting. The whole Kingsport team is .300 tops and many are struggling to hit for any power.

Another concern focuseson how Kingsport stashing Bonfe because of limited space. Why close GCL affiliation if you have too many dudes?

Last, they seemed to sign the fewest amount of draft picks out of all the MLB teams. What’s up with that?

Any insight you can provide would be appreciated, not debated.

I don’t know what it was but it sure got him an extra day of suspension which says to me it wasn’t the two words that got him in trouble but the 5 or 6 he said as the other guy stormed the field!

He has been known to tell guys he will kick thier something or other…

Tyler Pill is having a great year and keeps getting better. He started the year at Savannah and pitched some good ball there. When he was promoted to St. Lucie, he got even better. The kid has good command and batters are being dominated. When he matures his slider, he’ll have all four pitches in his arsenal.
