Why not Shut Johan down and bring up Jenrry Mejia to “start” in his place. He seems to pitch so much better as a starter and lets face since the Mets crack staff of experts seem determined to make him a reliever, why not start him the rest of the season and possibly build up some trade value, and then trade him for a real reliever and let this kid go elsewhere and win the 15 to 20 games he is probably more than capable of winning. Especially once who moves to another organization and gets some proper coaching on an offspeed pitch..

Has anyone else notice the Mets coaching staff is terrible at all levels and, they can’t seem to teach these kids anything. How is it many other teams keep developing pitchers and the Mets can’t. Don’t even bring up Harvey he is throwing the same stuff he did in college and Wheeler went back to his high school mechanics and is pretty much the same pitcher he was then with maybe some coaching he got while in San Frans system..

The last legit pitching coach we had was Rick Petersen.
