Happy to see the Mets drafting catchers Plawecki and Nido.
well, if you don’t have a catcher you will have a lot of passed balls…
Nice 2 hr game from Plawecki.
Satish – Who would you like to see in the Mets rotation come September?
The MLB Mets?
Well, I think Santana should be shut down to avoid any further stress right now. The six-man rotation would be pointless with him shut down, so I think that would be cancelled.
Dickey, Niese, and Harvey will get their starts in until Harvey reaches his innings limit. Young can round out the fourth spot. If he continues to pitch at least at an average level, he could probably be depth/competition for the fifth starter job next year.
Jeurys Familia might get called up for a bullpen role and Meija as well. The season is lost so I guess it wouldn’t hurt to give Meija or Familia a start each. Hefner can replace the rest if they are unsuccessful.
Not sure what the situation is with McHugh, but he’s also a name I’d definitely throw out there.
