They earned it. I like the Fred Lewis free agency signing. I thought he would be on the Mets roster this year at some time and he is a good off the bench outfielder and player. When he was with San Francisco I went to a Braves Giants game at Turner Field and we were waiting to go in and saw this bunch of folks with Frisco shirts on and said hello and they told me they were the parents, brothers and sisters and cousnins of Fred Lewis. Really really nice folks and I wish Fred and his family all the best and hope he can be a nice player for the Mets. We need to keep him.
