yeah, hamels was just sick thinking about getting smacked around by the mets yet again.

at least this explains why Terry is going with a lefty heavy line-up.

Cloyd? I have seen him discussed in the paper a few times (I am near Philly, sadly). Definitely a Gee/Mchugh type. Not overpowering stuff, but lives on control and mixing up pitches. Certainly the type of guy that can put up good #s in the minors, but could be lit up in the majors.

heck, Schwinden and Hefner have put up big MiL #s too.

A lot of Mets fans know Hamels can’t stomach the Mets. He’ll need a doctor’s note to get back into the dugout.

P.S.: Tyler Cloyd had a great 2012 WHIP at Lehigh Valley. In 142 innings, it was 1.007.
