This is great news for Dillon and all of us. Baseball aside, just glad to hear he is healthy.

I surely hope he has a bright future with the Mets, but I also understand that he could be a key piece in a trade.Honestly, of all things not to complain about too much, the Mets rotation overall has been a pretty solid aspect of an otherwise liquid roster.

what they do with the available pitchers this off season (keeping and trading) is going to be huge in determining how quickly they can plug the holes and get the team moving back in the right direction.

Congrats to Dillon. This is wonderful news to him and his family I’m sure.

As for us mets fans, I believe this is also excellent news. Gee is maturing into a consistent pitcher who can keep his team in the game. I’m not too big on naming guys #2,3,4 or 5. I like that he’s good enough to keep us in the game and help round out our rotation.

Pitching is growing into a valuable set of assets for this team. I wish I had faith we can manage that asset well, or use it to bring in more assets. But like I said at the top, congrats to Dillon on the bill of clean health.
