What other option do Mets have with Bay?
They put themselves in this position by not having another reliable bat, preferably RH, to play instead of Bay so Hairston can be kept for late in the game at bats, but no, since he is owed all that money he has to play according to TC who is waiting for that end of Sept hitting streak by Bay to justify being on roster next year, crazy I say.
When was the last time he was sent up to PH late in game with the game on the line? I can’t remember at all.

Need a win to get at least within 1 game of .500 as the Mets head home for 3 vs the Marlins.

Let’s get to the point, gang: we need this win today badly. We cannot take anything for granted, but we have got to go out there with a killer mentality, and take this game.

God knows what lineup will look like, but everybody needs to be productive. I sure hope Wright steps it up today. Getting very sick of his pathetic ABs.
