  • Yeah, Could’ve gone with murphy, but… Good Choice either way…
Tyler, whatever happened to the question of the week…. ?? I asked you a few times and no response… That was very entertaining as well..

Anyways, my prediction for this week on MMO POTW is:

    IKE DAVIS….

    • Alex,

Murphy was considered, but didn’t really produce the way David did this past week. As for the weekly question, it’ll be returning but I am unsure when. I have been kept pretty busy since Summer began and have been under the weather for most of it too, though some days I’m fine and others I am not. That’s why the weekly question hasn’t been appearing. Don’t worry though, it WILL return, I am just not sure when it will.

      • Well sounds to me like you just answered the weekly question! LOL

        • Lol.. touche!

  • Here’s hoping DWright has just as good a second half as he did the first half.

  • Glad to see Murphy coming back and I won’t really quibble much with Wright winning…

But I thought this was the week that Tejada deserved some recognition. he has had some key and clutch (Oh No not THAT word!) PAs this week and is the one who really sealed the comback in Philly with that one AB.

He saw 8 Pitches in that AB and pretty much wore out Pap for Murphy and Wright!

But statistically he doesnt’t win so I understand.
He still has time to get on the board though.

    • I am glad to see Murph start hitting as well. Hopefully it carries over into the second half and he has a really good second half. Tejada is a talented youngster who is quickly showing why it’s OK Jose is no longer here. Tejada has had some huge shoes to fill and has done a pretty nice job of it. I am sure by the time this season is over he’ll win once or twice.

      • Tejada is showing a Maturity at the plate that is remarkable for his age and experience.
I can’t say he is making me forget about Reyes yet but he might.
He does sort of remind me of Edgardo Alphonso without the power at the plate.
If he fills out a bit more and gets stronger he might even develop some of that power.

  • OT: Gee has been hospitalized trying to determine the reason for numbness in the fingers.

    • Hope he is ok, always sounds scarey when they are hospitalized.

      • I think there may be a bit of Hyperbole in that headline (On ESPNs part not SRT)

Hospitalized is usually referred to as bed ridden long stay.

In this case he is just there for tests and he may have stayed overnight due to the amount of tests they are doing but it’s not like he is in any danger or likely to stay after the tests are completed.

The cause of Numbness is usually found in the shoulder or Elbow. Either a nerve or an artery being pinched or restricted.
