I don’t know what is it with Familia. He was starting to do so good putting a nice string of starts together. His control continues to concern me. He is averaging just over 5 walks per 9 innings and I can only speculate that throwing so many pitches outside the strike zone is one of the cause that has seen him unable to go 5 inning in almost half his starts this season. He has good stuff from all accounts. He is averaging just over 8.5 strikeouts per nine innings so the stuff is there.

Congrats to Gavin on his 1st pro homer a Grand Slam to boot.

How the hell do you do that? And how do they even stand up?
