And everyone thought the Minaya regime screwed with this kid too much....

Could it be that The 3 headed Front office of Alderson, DePodesta, Ricciardi placed Mejia in the pen because they needed help in the major league bullpen at the time and thought there was a strong chance Mejia could help....And now are placing him back in the starting rotation because the once deep starting rotation they had has suffered some setbacks with injuries to Gee,Santana... and not to mention Chris Young's struggles as of late...

It also didnt help that they had to call up Harvey before they wanted to...And now after Harveys stellar outing they are hearing rumblings from fans and media and media alike calling for Wheeler....Could they be using Mejia as a buffer to hold the wolves off and quiet the Wheeler talk for the time being in order to buy him more time to develop???

This front office is just as terrible as the previous one they just spend less money and have less expectations.

BUSINESS AS USUAL!!! With added LIP SERVICE

It is just one more example of the total failure of Sandy Alderson and his staff. All failures, brought together to be one tremendous failure. Now we hear the clown prince of GMS can't trade Hairston because he wants to finish strong????? Guess what clown prince... you lost your fan base and every time its harder to get them back and less come back.

If you believe Mejia should be a starter than you have to be glad to see him back in that role. My understanding has been a reliever (in particular one that throws heat) doesn't hold back when coming out the pen and just brings it since he will at most go 2 innings and he is more of a 2 pitch pitcher relying mostly on his best pitch (in Mejia's case his fastball) so I don't understand how Depo could not expect Mejia to just throw harder out of the pen.

He is still in his 1st season back from surgery so barring a setback his arm should just get stronger as he continues to pitch at least for the foreseeable future out of the starting rotation.

Pancakes and Hamburgers don't flip flop as often as this front office does!

Jeez if all this deciding and then un-deciding isn't proof that these guys are friggin clueless what else could possibly convince someone?

Re-Signing Oliver Perez to a 20 Million dollar contract?

Trading Harvey and Wheeler to the Yanks to get Batista back?

Really what does it take for the Kool Aid crowd to see just how indecisive, Insecure and wishy washy the guys running this team are!

Say you want to talk deal with your SS in July but then refuse to talk in November.
Say Ike needs to go down then do nothing.
Say One guy is the starting and then say different two days later
Say your going to build via the draft and then not sign half your picks.
Say you need a RH Power Bat and then say Jason Bay could be it
Say Harvey isn't ready and after two bad starts bring him up anyway.
Say your a buyer and then 5 days later say your not.
And now after months of saying Mejia is best as a Reliever and removing him from the MiL rotation they put him back!

CLUELESS!

A pushmepullyou has a better chance of moving in a distinct and singleminded direction that these guys do!

Can they make up their minds just WHAT they're going to do with Mejia already?!?! He's a starter......uh, no..we want him in relief.....that didn't work so well, so back to starting.....VOILA! Tommy John surgery!.....back on the mound as a starter, oh wait, we need relievers in NY so back to the bullpen......ooops! that didn't work out like we thought, soooo.......back to the rotation again! Jennry, I feel so bad for you. You've played under two different front offices and neither one knows what to do with you. Oh, wait the common denominator between the Minaya days and now is......Dan Warthen. That explains the incompetence. Good luck Jennry, maybe one day soon someone in this organization will get it right, whatever right happens to be for you.
