I think this is the way to go, too.

Not enough relief help will be available from other clubs unless the Mets want to get into a bidding war with the other contenders. Am sure we can find enough “players to be named later” down in the farm system but not nearly enough cash to go along with them.

Besides, with the way his people have put together the bullpen the past two seasons, Sandy might have reservations taking any of their acquisition suggestions seriously.

I thought so in Spring Training that Edgin looked like the real deal. If Gee goes down that sucks but it may be time for Harvey to come up. We need a catcher and Jason Bay to return to form once and for all. If all three, Bay, Duda and Davis are firing on all cylinders we could give Wright some support during his monster year.

I think the all star break was a much needed break. We need to roar into Atlanta.
