Jays might stop the bleeding, but won’t win the WC with this trade alone. Astros will benefit most in 3-5 years. For a team looking to rebuild, a good trade for the Astros. Jays better hope the underachievers they got live up to the potential they traded for.

Astros have no hope and the Blue Jays are essentially out of it. This was just tabloid fodder. ESPN ran the headline that Blue Jays traded for Happ in a 10-player deal. So the centerpiece of the deal has pitched terribly in the NL Central and the Jays are bringing him into the AL East. Awesome deal.
