I don’t think I’ve ever put Terry has a “down”, because I genuinley like him. I think for the most part he’s done an outstanding job, with very little talent. That said, your point is taken about some of Terry’s mangerial strategies. I would run Murph out there every day. With the bullpen he doesn’t have too many options, but I’d also sit Bay for a while.

Have you ever had Terry Collins as a down? I think he has been an awful manager in this second half. He benches Murphy after two 4 hit games, kept giving the ball to Batista knowing he sucked. I think he’s been terrible in July.

Valdespin seems to be kind of a punk to me. That crap he pulled on the fly that Kirk caught was uncalled for, and then I read he went into the dugout and had a temped tantrum and kicked his helmet so hard Collins thought he broke his toe for sure.
