As an example while it will be fun to watch Dickey be the NL starter for the All Star Game it won’t equal all the fun I will lose out on if he gets hurt and not able to win games that get the Mets into the playoffs.

If it falls on his regular days of rest to pitch or when he would normally have a bullpen workout session it’s one thing.

But I hate taking the risk on losing him in a game that means nothing to the Mets other than maybe Home Field advantage if they manage to get to the World Series.

Call me a worry wart!

Point is he’s going up there ice cold and may get into a deeper funk trying to prove he belongs and getting away from what got him there in the first place. And Evenflow, I said I still see him at a corner position but I hope he does stick at 2nd.
