Glad they kept Rottino if not just for this series since we face 2 lefties in CC and Petitite and we are short on RH bats off bench; but Cedeno batting 2nd, why? Why not Turner who hits behind runners? Why Terry?
Cedeno is not a good bat, low OBP + SLUGGING.

According to the new baseball collective bargaining agreement, teams will be allowed to have 26 active players for day-night doubleheaders. The roster expands before the game, and goes back to 25 after the second game.

Does this mean we see Tejada and Beato tomorrow with Rottino going down along with either Valdespin or Quintanilla??

So who goes down to AAA when they activate Cedeno? Is it Rottino? I heard on the radio that Quintanilla would have to go through waivers. He has been slumping of late but you’d hate to lose the depth his bat gave the Mets. He probably would not clear waivers if put on.

Still once Tejada gets back he may be the odd man out even if they send Rottino down now. Doesnt look as if Spin is going anywhere anytime soon.
