Maybe Alderson should try and do a better job of evaluating talent instead of reading the market because he’s done an absolutely HORRIFIC job with the market.

Maybe he should try hiring some baseball people? It’s unbelievable how bad a job this guy has done and how much of a pass he still gets in the media. Joe & Evan always say that Alderson will be judged on the development of the farm system and I think that’s wrong because he should also be judged on the job he’s doing NOW. And the job he’s doing now is revolting. Baseball wise all he’s done is use his stupid saber metrics to find undervalued filler.

How about getting some ballplayers to help this team get better and win.

METS62FAN, I didnt mind bringing Rauch in the offseason, but what got me was that he got paid so much coming off a terrible season like that. Now, given his $3.5M it would take a lot more bad relief outings before they stop giving him those important innings late in games. Especially now with FF out.

Something tells me in thier search for relief help they found out that everyone wants starting pitching as I have said time and again it’s more valuable in trade than relievers…

I think this switch back indicates Mejia is likely to be traded for whatever it is these yahoos decide to get.
