It looks to me like he changed his mechanics from last year. That may be a big reason why he has no control right now. May still be getting used to them.

Mejia got hit hard last night. Really makes me think that moving him to the bullpen is just a repeat of 2010. Doing this recap prompted me to write an article about Mejia on my site. What I think the FO should have done is let him start until he gets to 120-130 innings and then shut him down for the season. That way, hes getting onto the starter routine, building arm strength, and also getting a chance to work on secondary pitches. As a relief pitcher, all he has to do is crank up his fastball. He isn’t learning how to pitch IMO.

Wow, after I posted this and read everyone’s recaps in this report, I gotta give my guys some major props. Nice job by The Incredibles! I love this team we’ve put together.
