But I could see what his issue was almost a month before he corrected it.

And it was all due to missing all that time vs MLB pitching.
It was all going to fast for him.

Took Beltran two and a half months to get back up to speed and oddly enough thats just about how long it took Ike davis as well!

This is why if you think the Minors can help the time to do it is before you bring them up to the big leagues.

This would apply to Jason Bay as well.

Guy gets hurt and misses significant time you don’t bring him back up after 5 rehab games you leave them there till they get up to speed and then challenge them at the MLB level where the speed increases.

It works for Pitchers as well which is why I question why Ramirez was brought back as fast as he was when he had hardly showed anyone he was ready to face MLB batters yet.

It took a lot of guts and a lot of faith and belief in an individual (and some actual, good old fashioned BASEBALL KNOWLEDGE) to write a post like that while he was deep into his struggles. The Now showed he is waiting a starting his swing later and as a result he is hitting the ball all over.

To show just how bad Ike struggled over his 1st 58 games Ike hit 5/HR 22/RBI 15/R while batting .167/BA. Over his last 14 games Ike has hit the same amout of hr’s and nearly the same amout of ebi’s and runs 5/HR 19/RBI 11/R while batting .333/BA.

He looks like a completely different person up there now and believe it or not can still wind up with 30 HRs, 100 RBI this season.
