Last night’s game was a stinker. This afternoon the Mets look to bounce back as they take on the Blue Jays for game two. Anyway, in this afternoon’s game Miguel Batista will get the call for the Mets as he takes on Brandon Morrow. Batista is coming off of an amazing start and he will look to continue today. He is 1-1 with a 4.26 ERA over 25.1 innings of work. In his last two starts he has pitched 12.1 innings with an ERA of 1.46. He is 3-2 against the Blue Jays lifetime over 42.0 innings of work and a 1.70 ERA. The Jays have the following numbers against Batista:

The Mets bats will get a look at Brandon Morrow today who is 4-2 this season with a 2.22 ERA over 8 starts and 52.1 innings of work. He is coming off his first rough start in a while as he allowed 6 ER over 5 innings of work. He has logged barely any time against the Mets in his career as he has one scoreless inning against the Amazins. Only three Mets have numbers against Morrow:
