Wait, didn’t we sweep atlanta as well? shouldn’t they have said the same thing since many predicted US to lose 100 games as well? I know it may not mean much, but the mets are -30 in RUN DIFF, which is the 2nd worst in baseball, we can’t run, We can’t pitch, we get on base but don’t drive the runners in, our bullpen is shaky at best, you sound as if we somehow are world beaters.. I am not surprise at all we got swept, i know we have a winning record, but in part is because we play most our games at home.. Giving a bit of an advantage over other teams early in the season…

Sure we should be at 15-10, but who the hell says we dont get the series against dbacks at home ? We even sweept harder teams …… this year already ….. We should remember that at the BEST , we will have a above .500 year and can maybe see at the end if we can manage a little rally for the 2nd Wild Card . But through the year we will (and that would be wonderful besides all ups and downs ) maybe 2-3 games over .500 and maybe at its worth 3or 4 games under .500 some point in the season. We have to fight, and the good thing is, on a good run, this team can beat anyone in a 3game series, no doubt. LETS GO METS

Your condecending attitude of the other team players is probably the exact attitude Collins gave to his guys and it showed. They played listless ball, against a hungry bunch oif guys who may not be stars, but they all hustled as they try to prove they belong. A team with all unknowns except for Wright is noi different than a team with a bunch of no names other than Carlos Lee. And you really are the joke when you try to make fun of a team that just wiped your team out of town.
