I try not to put much stock when Collins says something that is not said as definite. I read where he will have 2 starts in Binghamton and 2 starts in Buffalo at which point it will be seen as the end of his rehad barring a setback. I am guessing at which point they have to decide if he will continue to start or relieve.

Actally he suggested that was probably the best place for him but did not say they have given up on using him as a starter.

I think Terry wants him for the Pen and may be pushing for it but I am not sure Sandy has gone that far yet.

What Terry Said in a nutshell was he needs to work on his secondary pitches and starting is good for that but when he gets all worked out from the surgery that the BullPen is a probable landing spot.

Again the Manager of the NY METS should just keep his damn trap shut about players not under his control!
He does this all the time!

“It’s a process of getting him back 100 percent healthy,” Collins said. “There are fast healers. He’s one of them. He was actually pitching in games before the year (anniversary from when) he had surgery, which is great.

“But there’s going to be a process of going out and getting some innings and getting a feel for his secondary pitches, getting a workload in, building up his arm strength, making sure he can come back. Because, when he gets here, most likely it’s going to be out of the bullpen. So as he builds up his arm strength, then we’ve got to test him somehow as a reliever in the minor leagues, which is not going to be I’m sure back-to-back days. We’re probably not going to do that.”

really? i think that would be great , i guess there some more that sometimes asking himselfs to whom they belong . So just that way would be GREAT .

i love the farm system/teams more and more …. hard for me yet to immediately realize to which organization a team belongs , some are easy cause they use the same name , like the pawntucket red sox for example, but often i have to check with organization we play against . Maybe you use the MLB team in ( ) while writing for us , in this case everyone would have the minor leagues teams AND to whom they belong in their head soon. Or its just me and everyone of you guys already knows everytime which organization a team belongs But i really dont think so

someone has a overall record stat for the farm teams ? i mean the mets are 105-61 through all 4 minor leagues . I think we have the best record among all MLB teams but i would love to know for sure
