Hi Mack!

I agree with you 100% that the Gnats need to get their offensive asses in gear. There is quite a bit of under-achieving going on. Without naming names, there are no less than eight regular or semi-regular position players hitting under .240. The only guys that have hit well are Travis Taijeron, T.J. Rivera, Dustin Lawley, and Brandon Brown. And the Gnats rank near the bottom of the league in nearly every offensive category.

The problem is, I fear the guys you named are not the answer yet. Diehl and Nimmo both got off to slow starts in extended. Diehl is battling lower back issues, but Nimmo actually might be a possibility since he has been coming on stronger with the bat of late. Evans....I have no idea. I haven't heard any reports yet on how he is doing. I think it more likely that you would see someone like Gilbert Gomez, or Cole Frenzel before Nimmo though.

Hey Pete.

It's really a shame that the Wilpon's remain committed to sending Nimmo/Evans/Diehl to Brooklyn.

Savannah sure could use a few more bats, especially to support such a great pitching staff.
