I say that after we are blown out, no chance for playoffs all of a sudden Ike finds his stroke, BP starts to pitch better but has less opportunities cause over worked starters can’t pitch as much as they had to early in season cause BP stunk.

This is what all that money that SA spent gets us?
I will not call Met’s front offer for investment advice cause they brought in BP arms, w/o another LH, that are as inconsistent as last years BP only more expensive.

Where is D.J. when you need him, at least with him you knew he was going to stink!

Gee pitched good giving up just that 2 run HR and deserved a win for his efforts. The blame falls on Rauch tonight he had to get the job done and didn’t. that is now 2 appearances he failed to get the job done this season. I have liked his body of work overall as a Met but his last 2 appearances have been disappointing. I don’t know what more I can say about Ike that I haven’t said already. Need you to get going Ike your leaving a ton of men on base.

Positives for me are Gee and his pitching effort and Torres with his 3 for 4 1/RBI effort.

Need a win 2morrow to get back above .500. Santana on the hill.

You want to hit the pitch that is in the zone you are looking for instead of trying to work the count and fall behind then swing at a crappy pitch.

I say we let the starter, Gee, Niese, R.A. go deeper cause at least they are keeping us in games and trusting the BP to 3 or more innings is not working out.

Hairston has gotten a few good hits lately but he is a high pitch strikeout waiting to happen when he get behind, that is why he is not a starter.

If Kirk is not going to play then send him down cause he is not learning anything sitting on the bench while the “vet” play.

He’s been a sparkplug in many games despite Torres driving in runs but Torres so far has not provided any base stealing that is needed.

This game sucked bad and having to run out your only LH so early restricts your ability to pitch to other lefties so why is their no clamor to bring up Edgin who looked so dominating in ST?

BP needs to be blow up cause these late game losses are demoralizing, same as end of year run when Wagner got hurt and BP by committee cost us chance at playoffs. :(
