Pelf looked like he was going to completely crumble… some how he pulled through.

So far Murphs Bat has won more games then his glove has lost…funny because his glove helped win that game too. But I’ve been saying all along, Murph has the physical skills to play the position…he’s even has some decent range. The problem with Murph is his complete lack of experience at the position. The simple plays or the plays where he doesn’t have time to think, he’ll be fine. It’s the in between plays that Murph is going to struggle with. But Murph did make a nice turn at 2nd for a dbl play in the 7th as well…

Our 4-5-6 hitters have only three RBI so far…I think only five hits?

Bay’s first two AB’s were his worst this season and looked like he was trying to swing his way out of his slump. I’ve been saying that I’ve seen positives from Bay so far…I saw no positives from last night.

Sadly, Ike is looking worse than Bay…But Ike has a big long swing with a hitch…this is going to happen to him.

Duda, he’ll be fine, the hit s will come.

Moving to the top of the lineup has done wonders for Tejada. The first couple of games, it looked like Tejada was trying to hit for power. Now he’s back to just trying to hit line drives.

What else can you say about the pen other then they’ve been fantastic.

Pelf was his ol’ Jekyll and Hyde self. Flashes of brilliance amidst some terrible pitch decisions, or just missing his mark. Man, Zimmerman has his number.

Yes, Bay and Ike suck, but I am less concerned for Ike. Ike needs to swng. For the first three games, it looked as if he just waited to be bailed out by umps. He hacked a bit tonight; never really put good wood on the ball.

Bay–sheesh! As I said, I’ll give this guy six weeks. Then it’s either accept a DFA or cut bait with him. He did play well defensively tonight.

Duda was swinging, but kept getting under the ball. He should be fine.

Yes Pelf gave up 10 hits and 3 runs over 5 2/3 but I am going to give him props on his 1 walk and 8 strikeouts over that same span in his 1st start of the season.

Nice job Wright with an rbi in every game so far this season.

How about the pen? Don’t know how long it will last but you can’t ask for more from them so far to start the season.
