Torres and Francisco Ready To Go On Thursday

Comments Off According to ESPN New York, Terry Collins was very pleased with Frank Francisco’s bullpen session today. Francisco expierenced no pain in his knee, which has sidelined him for a portion of the spring. He will be leaving camp with the team, ready to go for the opener.
Andres Torres started and batted lead off in today’s Mets 7-6 win over the Yankees. Andres said he felt good at the plate and on the bases. He was removed from the game prematurely for precautionary reasons. He should be ready to go once the season starts against the Braves Thursday afternoon.
As a result of their health, Vinny Rottino and Daniel Herrera have been dispatched to Buffalo.
