  • suprised that all 3 made it.

Maybe this is a positive sign for the future, but does this mean they actually made it through ST with the team 100% intact (meaning the guys they expected are all able to play)? If that continues though the regular season it would be a novelty for sure.

FF though certainly sounds like someone that might not make it long, but I guess if he is borderline, they might as well test it out, since he can always go on the DL after the season starts too.\

Not sure about that pen (expecting a lot of adjustments along the way), but I have seen much worse Met teams breaking camp in the past. A healthy, reasonaby productive Johan will have a huge impact. As will getting rid of Bay (I don’t even entertain the thought anymore of him coming back to life).

  • Lets Go Get Em’
    LGM!!!!!!!!

  • When was the last time the Mets started the season with their projected starting 8 + all 5 SP arms healthy? Some of the BP slots were up for grabs – only Carrasco hurt (if anyone is counting him at all), but no big surprises or substitutions here either.

    So this is it. LGM!

    • Hi srt – I’m not counting him!

      • Ha! Don’t think many of us were/are either.
We never got to see him pitch this spring but if he picked up where he left off last year – money or not – I don’t think he would have secured a spot in that BP.

    • I forgot him too, but I stand by my statement that they got everyone since I was on record earlier as saying he would be cut before the season anyway!

  • 69-93 but i still be watching and prob going to the game… In spite of the owners and the front office this is the team we love and grew up watching.. LGM!!!!!

    • ..i took the over of 72 on Mets, lawsuit behind us will give us new version of Sandy..i like that they finally come together opening day, good omen,,,historicaly miracle mets win, mets as faves stumble..maybe we can pick up a piece to the puzzle if we playin well..

  • LETS GO METS!!!

  • Saw on another thread that there are still OD tickets available. Dang, wish I was free to make the trip up to NY for it. Used to go every year (probably made about 10 in a row at one point). But not for a long time.

    • I bought my tixs last week – it wasn’t really a challenge. I got them straight from the Mets. The knuckleheads that put them on Stubhub are asking stupid prices (as of last week anyhow).
