DJ Carrasco isn’t even that good when healthy. I would release him anyway, and check the waiver wire for something better. I’m sure there will be.

Pretty sure they could waive DJ. You just can’t trade him! But, I’m guessing at that. so maybe they are stuck with him?

Though if that was the case, just put him on the active roster, then DL him!

More likely trying to get something out of him before eating the salary.

So unless I am missing something they must not have been able to place Carrasco on waivers while he was injured? Otherwise regardless of this guy not doing much, why lose him instead of Carrasco. Maybe they just guessed wrong and thought no one this late in the game would have room for him?

bummer. hope Batista can actually do more for the team than Stinson 9which based on his record, is not all that much).
