By the way…Arenado is currently hitting .393 with a 1.004 OPS in AA…Wright is headed to the DL (most likely…don’t want to make that seem like a foregone conclusion at this point…not that it matters, I’m sure you won’t understand this easy-to-understand statement either). Here’s the problem with that Bird Brain!

Your original comment was an argument can be made that Wright needs to go back on steroids as if it was a foregone conclusion that he was. If you said from the beginning the argument can be made Wright was on steroids proir to 2009 no one would’ve said a word. So learn how to properly phrase a sentence before you make an a-hole out of yourself trying to spin it on us. Now you can go back to kissing your Nolan Arenado baseball card.

Even if David is not in pain and feels able to play tomorrow night, how much of his effectiveness will be hindered if he cannot get full strength in his grip both with the bat and with the throw? So whether he plays or not might be more up to Terry than David.

If that statement was written as a 4th grader, then, it appears as though the two of you have the reading comprehension of 3rd graders at best…as, I will once again try to explain the very simple to understand statement I wrote…the argument can be made that Wright was on steroids prior to the 2009 season, because since the 2008 season his numbers have clearly been in decline, therefore, you could argue that his success prior to the 2009 season was aided by steroids, thus meaning, you could argue to regain that form, he (Wright) would need to GO BACK on the aforementioned steroids. Let me know if your minds are able to comprehend this, as I have now tried to make it clear, yet again, to your two, clearly feeble, minds the simple remark that I made. Amen.

If you wanted to actually try and make sense you would’ve said the argument could be made that maybe Wright WAS on steriods prior to 2009 not the argument could be made Wright needs to GO BACK on them, which you capitalized. If you didn’t say GO BACK it would’ve been clearer.

If I intended for it to mean it was a known fact I would not have said that an “argument could be made”…as opposed to the individual who I replied to who said “Maybe Wright needs to be pumped full of steroids like Pujols.” One of those statements suggests a known fact…the other one makes it seem as if it was a possibility, hence the phrase “an argument could be made.” I hope I dumbed this down enough to be understood by all.

David’s injury is disapointing not crushing. I hope he continues his hot streak upon his quick return. If last night was life without Wright…the future looks bleak. Our four infielders last night were playing out of thier “natural” positions. Our defense is weak.
Friday in Philly will be interesting. Who plays third will shape the team. If it’s Murphy he will be at his best position. Will it be much worse than Wright? It will be at 1/30th the cost of Wright. Could David play leftfield well? Murphy can’t, Bay can’t hit. If Wright is to be our captain. Would he move out of his compfort zone? It may help the team,

A basketball player can’t play with a broken pinky, and probably not a hockey player too. A golfer can’t play with a broken pinky, nor can a tennis player. Most skill position football players would not be at all effective trying to play with a broken pinky, as you see when a defensive player plays that way they are usually half-a-player on the field. Whatsa matter dude? You don’t think a pinky is important? Then try this, take a big hammer and smash it down onto one of your pinkies. Then see how effective you will be at say….brewing a pot of coffee?
