Mets Game Preview: Can Pelfrey Play Stopper Against The Giants?

The Mets and Giants play game two of their four game set this afternoon as Mike Pelfrey takes on Vogelsong. In the first game, the Mets were able to rally in the ninth inning to bring the game to extras, but then lost. The Mets look to end their three game slide today where they need to get their pitching and hitting to coincide again. In Pelfrey’s first two starts he has pitched 11.2 innings with an ERA of 3.09.
