We are 23rd in RS and 7th in OBP….22nd in RBI
Poof goes 30 years of research!

Getting on base doesn’t drive anything but OBP!
It is the hits that drive in that OB that drives the RS and it doesn’t really matter what percentage of your playes get on, only what percentage of those OBs actually score!
BA with RISP is part of that but not all those hits score a run either.

I think that is the key there. Not that the team isn’t hitting late, but that 3 guys in the heart of the order haven’t been hitting at all.

Now, it looks like Ike has found his rhythm. Hopefully, that will be contagious.
