this is why guys that showed enough to be top draft picks keep getting picked up again and again. humber was waived at least 3 times. Proving again, you never know!

On the replay some on MLB Network said it looked like the umpire made the right call. I have not seen the swing in slow motion so I can’t tell if his wrists went around although it appeared the bat was held up in time. So even though the batter was fooled on the pitch I think the umpire might have made a bad call because he was caught up in the moment. Have to look at that replay a few more times when I have a chance.

Regardless if he did swing (which I agree he didn’t), for home plate to not check with 1B ump was the mistake. The ump got caught in the moment and didn’t wanna be the next Jim Joyce probably.

Has anybody seen the replay of the final out. I don’t think he swung and it was ball four.

I’m amazed that that Chicago station at the time didn’t even bother to show the replay. SNY would have. And I still have not seen any replay, has anyone seen it?
