METS GREAT EDGARDO ALFONZO TO GREET NEW YORK METS FANS AND CITI CUSTOMERS TO KICK OFF FIRST FULL WEEK OF SEASON

Alfonzo to Sign Autographs at Citibank Branch at 1155 Avenue of the Americas (between 44th and 45th Streets) from 12:00-1:30 PM on Tuesday, April 10

New York, NY – Mets great Edgardo Alfonzo, who is a member of the Mets Alumni Association Presented by Citi, will be greeting fans and signing autographs to kick off the first full week of the Mets season at the Citibank branch at 1155 Avenue of the Americas (between 44th and 45th streets) on Tuesday, April 10 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm.

Alfonzo, the all-purpose infielder who played for the Mets from 1995-2001, finished his Met career with a .289 batting average and was an all-star selection with the club in 2000. He ranks fifth on the club’s All-Time hits and runs list, with 1,136 and 614, respectively. He also ranks seventh in runs batted in with 538 and ninth overall in home runs with 120.
