Dick Clark was as much as staple of my youth as Casey, Choo-Choo and Marvelous Marv. So many memories, I can’t even recall them. I do remember when American Bandstand was on five days a week but half way through the broadcast it was interrupted by the Mickey Mouse Club before coming back on a half-hour later. Many forget that he also had a Saturday night show for a year or so during the late fifties that originated from New York.

Just sad thinking Dick is no longer with us and just a reminder of how old we are all getting.
