This team is just fun to watch right now. Even if we’re going nowhere, so much better to be watching some of the kids play and make their mark then over priced veterans whose best days are behind them.

Mets posted their lineup for today and Wright is in their. Glad I was wrong on that prediction.

On the money Nicholas. This team is a lot better than people think. Johan coming back is huge….

Another thing I really like about this team is that its mostly made up of homegrown talent. Where are all those people that said the Mets farm system had no talent? Tejada, Duda, Davis, Capt. Kirk, Niese, Murphy, Wright, Thole… I’d say the farm system has been pretty productive…

Spot on regarding Davis and Duda, if those guys get going, this team can surprise a lot of people. The thing that scares me is our division. It’s stacked. Washington might have one of the best rotations in baseball, the Phillies are the Phillies, Marlins improved. Braves have a pretty good team. Top to bottom the NL East is probably the best division in baseball…

Every year there’s that one team that comes out of nowhere, that all the experts completely missed. It’s still way to early to tell, but maybe the Mets are that team this year….

Really cool post! You are my favorite kind of Met fan, optimistic like me. The pessimists are the ones that makes our base look like the Phillies fans. I want no part of that constant complaining, criticism, etc. Lets Go Mets!
