It’s nice to see Gorski a kid that came out of nowhere last year and had a great season in A+ continue to pitch well in AA. Peavey taking the hill tonight for BMets is another kid that has gotten off to a great start in AA.

Not sure what the deal is with Mejia yet, but at least he’s getting some simulated innings in at St. Lucie. But in all honesty, Josh Edgin not only has the nasty stuff you want in a closer, but the demeanor as well. One of the guys told me that after he allowed his first earned run since last September (including spring training) he went semi-ballistic and growled. He still got the save.

Gorski just looks so polished as a pitcher. He really does not seem to have much left on the development list. if so, and assuming he gets cruising along like this, you could be seeing him up in NY this season if a need arises (as it always does). And certainly competing for a rotation spot next ST.
