Just saying, that saving his arm for a whole season doesn’t help if the extra day comes with lack of sharpness, pitching in BP is not same as game conditions so I just hope this was a fluke and next game he pitches a gem AND Mets get him some runs which they did after he was gone

If he can pitch well next time that will alleviate a lot of fears. Watching him is like watching a baby walk, you have no idea if he will fall on his face so you hold your breathe. He didn’t help the team by not even getting through 2 innings. The team is lucky they had an off day for the bullpen to recover from pitching basically two whole games in a row.
