Interesting read, Coop. I guess I’m just a basic guy. I’m happy with a beer and some nuts. The thought of waiting in line for food at a game is foreign to me, since I don’t want to miss a pitch. But, for those who like gourmet fare, I’m glad there will be options.

Also, how do they pick people to do these fun things (like this and the blogger events)? I pay out of my ass for a season plan, have a good relationship with the ticket office, and have a blog, and they never ask me! WTF? HAHA.

I am drooling. They may have to take out the standard seats and add “extra wide” seating options. One suggestion for the staff. With this menu have portable defribilators stationed each 100 feet with instructions for use printed on the back of the ticket stub.

Haven’t made my way to Citi yet as it’s far from convenient from where I am. Hopefully I’ll get there sooner rather than later.

When I do, there certainly doesn’t seem to be a shortage of food items to choose from!

The first time I had chicken and waffles was in the summer of 2004 while on vacation with my husband at Myrtle Beach. OMG I was hooked and ate it 3-4 times during the 7 days we were there. I have not had it since, mostly because I haven’t come across it on any menus where we like to eat. I cannot wait to try this Citifield version and if it’s half as good as the one I remember, it’s going to be a great season in 2012. Sorry but I am an avowed foodie!

This is beyond hard to believe considering Shea was well known for it’s bag of peanuts.

Give me a talented in their prime starting 8, a dominant rotation and a well conceived pen and bench, a shrimp po’ boy and a half dozen Presidente’s and I’m good to go.

Buffalo dog was actually amazing.

I enjoyed the chicken sandwich, although I had it first so I think i had it fresher.

Mex burger was good last year, so I imagine it was a heat lamp thing. Not the greatest, I’d stick with Shake Shack, but it was good.
