This is just more evidence that Miami Marlins president David Samson has arrested adolescence. He’s got the judgement of an 8th grader. I know the business of baseball promotes greater attendance but Samson didn’t have to bring Coney Island and carnival sideshow antics to Miami. They are just the tip of the iceberg. I predict that David Samson will be out of baseball within five years. Even his Milwaukee ties to Bud Selig won’t save him.

Wow. My hope is very simple: last day of the season at Miami and a Reyes error proceeds a Duda or Davis shot that breaks that grotesque abomination to pieces!… And yhe Marlins are left watching the Mets celenrate on their home turf. Ahh, me & my fantasies!

They took a good idea and just went WAY too over the top. If they had had some kind of water structure in center field (like in Kansas City) and had it look like Marlins were jumping in and out of the water during a home run, that would be cool. This is just like blindingly horrific. I’m hoping it fails on the first homer and breaks beyond repair!

People said the same thing about the Apple when it went in!

The most exciting thing about the Apple that first year was the betting on if it would actually pop up or not! It was that hit or miss the first year! LOL

What I always thought Odd about the Apple was it was supposed to be an apple pulled out of a hat. But Unless you were in the upper decks (Loge and Higher) you could not see the HAT part because it was hidden behind the fence! LOL

At least the Marlins didn’t decide to coop up some Marlin and teach him to do tricks like the Miami Dolphins did at the orange Bowl with TD who could make FGs!

Don’t get me started on them and their BS. I still remember the last game at Shea. They are all on the field dancing like they won the World Series, preventing the grounds crew from setting up for the closing ceremony.
