I too had high hopes for him but he just did not get it done and they were out of room where he would need to be. He couldn’t handle AAA and no room for him in AA.

Too bad for this kid, he often was injured, i had such high hopes for him.. but i guess the new front office is starting to clean house in the minors to get the players they want in..

Thanks for the story, Clayton. It is bittersweet and I hope Eric winds up a winner somewhere on a baseball diamond. If not, then he’ll surely find satisfaction in his life outside the diamond. Life is bigger than baseball.
