Mets Release St. Patty’s Day Cap, Jersey

Check out the new cap and jersey the Mets will be wearing on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) when they play the Braves at Digital Domain Park:

Simple, but kind of cool.

Poor Keith Hernandez has seen his uniform number handed out to a motley crew of players over the years, but I’m sure he’d have no problem lending his No. 17 to St. Patrick.

The cap and jersey look like they’ll go great together.

Hmmmmm……..probably the same color most Mets fans will turn when they see the team record by June 1st! LOL

  THERE WAS PROBABLY AN OVER SUPPLY OF GREEN CLOTH AVAILABLE & AREN’T WE TOO FAR GONE TO BE INTERESTED IN SUCH PETTY TRIVIALS AS THE BODIES FITTING INTO THAT GREEN NEED TO STANDOUT FROM THE GRASS RATHER THAN BLEND INTO IT.

  IMO, ONE OF THE WORST THINGS TO ADD TO A STUD’S DEBUT IS THE REQUIREMENT TO THROW A SHUTOUT TO EARN THE ‘W’
  
  THE FORMULA OF “WEAKEST LINEUP IN 5 YRS” + MEDIOCRE AT BEST ROTATION + SHORTENED DIMENSIONS = “COMPLETE DISASTER”
